Custom furniture solutions for the marine sector require a careful balance between design, functionality, and strict technical regulations. This project, completed for the Baltic Queen Ferry operating on the Tallinn–Stockholm route, demonstrates how bespoke furniture can successfully support both visual identity and daily operations in a demanding maritime environment.

KEY CONSTRAINS
One of the main challenges was maintaining the architect’s design vision while adapting it to marine sector regulations. Unlike land-based HoReCa projects, furniture used on vessels must withstand constant vibration, intensive daily use, and environmental changes.
Material selection and construction methods were therefore chosen with exceptional care to ensure long-term performance, safety, and compliance.
n marine projects, fixing points are not optional – they are a core safety requirement. All furniture elements must be securely fixed to the vessel’s structure, and these solutions must be planned already at the production drawing stage.
Our experience in contract furniture manufacturing allowed us to integrate fixing solutions seamlessly without compromising the visual quality of the interior.
